REFERRAL-BASED SUPPORT

Help Accessing Essential Items When Families Need It Most

The Emergency Needs Program, also known as Community Compass Supports, helps families obtain essential items needed to safely care for their children when financial hardship makes those items difficult to afford. Families served through this program are often experiencing significant financial challenges, including living at or below the poverty level or having little to no income.

This program is designed to provide limited, one-time assistance and is accessed through a referral from a professional such as a nurse, case manager, or social worker. Family Support Network works to ensure that support reaches families with the greatest need while maintaining a clear and efficient referral process.

The Emergency Needs Program helps bridge that gap by providing critical support when it’s needed most.
