SHARED EXPERIENCE

Support, Guidance, and Connection for Parents

Receiving news that a child may have a developmental delay, disability, or medical condition can feel overwhelming. Many families experience uncertainty, isolation, and questions about what to do next. Family Support Network’s Parent to Parent (P2P) program provides compassionate support by connecting parents with trained Family Liaisons who have personal experience navigating similar challenges.

Through this program, families receive emotional support, practical guidance, and connections to community resources that can help them move forward. Parent to Parent is part of a broader Complex Care Management approach, supporting families of children who are born at risk or who have ongoing developmental, medical, or cognitive needs. The goal is to ensure families feel supported, informed, and connected every step of the way.
