GUIDANCE FROM EXPERIENCE

Support From Someone Who Understands the Journey

The REACH Family Liaison program provides peer mentorship for individuals and families receiving services through the Regional Center of Orange County (RCOC). Navigating disability services can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to understand eligibility, available programs, and how to access the right support. This program connects families with trained Family Liaisons who have personal experience navigating similar systems and challenges.

Family Liaisons offer guidance, encouragement, and practical support based on real-life experience. They help families better understand available resources, ask the right questions, and feel more confident navigating services. This program is designed to complement the work of your Regional Center Service Coordinator by providing additional support from someone who understands what you’re going through.
