At five years old, Lillia and her mother attended a community resource fair at Orangethorpe Elementary School, where they met the compassionate Family Support Network (FSN) team. Concerned about Lillia's difficulty with sounds like "s" and "r," the FSN team conducted a developmental screening and discovered she faced speech and motor skills challenges. Referred to the Fullerton School District, Lillia was confirmed to have developmental delays and received an Individualized Education Program (IEP). From initial concern to comprehensive support, this journey brought immense relief and hope to Lillia's mother.
